Acoustic Nonwoven

The surface of many of our products is a variation of polyester nonwoven. With its airpermeable, micro-perforating qualities the sound is reflected at a minimum when hitting the surface, so that the sound absorbent can absorb at maximum. It can stand dampness, is free from smell, does not rot or mould and does not cause any allergic reactions.

The acoustic tissue provides a durable surface where the secon- dary spaced boarding leaves gaps.

Minimal reflection 


The acoustic tissue lets the sound through to the sound absorbent behind with a minimal reflection.

Does not fray


Rolled instead of woven, which prevents it from fraying when cut with a knife or with scissors.

Roll-off for small lots is performed against set-up cost, other dimensions as agreed.

Gram weight & colour

80g och 130g/m2. As standard the tissue is white or black, but in case of big orders the surface can be coloured according to your wishes.

About the material

  • Withstands dampness: free from smell and does not rot or mould.
  • No leaking: no glue or binding agents.
  • No harmful fibres: does not leave off any measurable emissions, does not cause any allergic reactions, skin irritancy or irritated respiratory passages.


The acoustic tissue is normally attached on to the frames behind before the external panel is screwed on.


Clean with a dry brush/broom or with a vacuum cleaner. If very dirty, clean with cold water, a cloth and a gentle washing up, washing or cleaning detergent.


The acoustic tissue is approved accor- ding to SIS650082. The material fulfils the requirements for a non-flammable material according to the swedish national board of housing, building and Planning – boverket’s general advice 1993:2, 2nd edition, paragraph 1.1.2. With rock wool or ecosund® absor- bent behind the tissue, the material fulfils the fire-technical requirements for surfaces class 1 (B-s 1,d0).
